Currently involved in restoring my 1968 Dual Twin. I am ready to send the black parts out for powdercoating. I would like to remove the lock cylinder from the lower fork tree. It appears to be held in with a small rivet. Wondering if anyone has done this before, would like to know what this will entail before I attack it.

1): If I drill out and remove the rivet, will the cylinder just come right out?

2): What size/type of rivet is used to reattach the cylinder?
