I bought a 100 Sport when I turned 14. New, it cost me $430, incldg. tax. On a downhill, interstate slope, I did a hair over 72mph!  That's no BS! I had a friend with a twin jet Yamaha...he never could beat me  125 Honda buddy was out of luck, also.

Yes the Bridgestones were always had the best performance of most anything, compared to something else same size

I would have to agree - I bought my first bike a blue 100 BS Sport in June 1968.  I went everywhere on it - the fellows I used to ride with had Honda C90, Suzuki A100, Yamaha YL1 100 twin and a Honda 125 twin.  I never had any trouble keeping up with them.  One time I remember outdoing a guy on  Kawa 500 triple on some tight suburban twisty streets.

What is this? Am I trying to re-live my youth?
