90 Trail/Sport and BS7 owner
« on: December 08, 2010, 07:44:05 PM »
Good afternoon,

I just found this great resource, so I thought I would do a quick intro.  I'm currently finishing up a build that started with a very crusty 90 Trail.  So much of the it wasn't going to be "restorable" that I decided to make it a little cafe racer.  Unfortunately, I started this project over 4 years ago, and then it sat while I worked on other projects.  I moved it front and center in the garage this week, so I'm back on it now.  Hope to get it running shortly.

As purchased:

As it sits now:

Yes, it has a Honda S90 gas tank.  I have since sourced a decent 90 Sport Bridgestone tank, and will be mounting it up shortly.

I also have a BS7 i picked up locally for cheap, in much better condition.  It will eventually make its way into the project lineup.

Besides Bridgestones, I also have:

Honda C100
Honda C110
Honda Trail 55
Honda S65
Yamaha YJ1 Riverside 55
Yamaha YG-1T
Suzuki AC50
Hodaka ACE 90
and numerous other parts bikes.

A few of them:

I usualy buy them cheap, fix them up, and so far haven't managed to convince myself to sell any!  I try to post info on my blogs:

and

I'm going to have some electrical questions about the 90, but I'll post them in the correct forum.

Hey Chris I saw your blogs on the BS-7 build, seems like you might have some original parts left over - maybe muffler, tank, or ???. If you have BS7 parts to sell e-mail me at remonroe@hotmail.com

Thanks
Bob

Hi Chris,
You've got a lot of cool bikes there, I especially like the Suzuki. I live in Sacramento and am looking for a BS7. Let me know if you run across one in the area. Thanks. Brett
