Bridgestone Ride
« on: May 26, 2017, 08:52:08 AM »
I went for about a 20 mile ride yesterday on my 1968 BS 175 HS.
It ran great and made me remember why I have it.

If you have a Bridgestone be sure to start it and ride it.
It will help make everything right with the world.

On this Memorial Weekend please remember all the men and women
that have gave their lives for our freedom.

Certainly glad you found the gas stop. There's a trick (you may already know this, most oldtimers do) when you're down to the end and the bike runs out of gas. You can get almost another mile if you stop  and lean the bike to the left almost to the ground. It'll dump the gas retained in the bottom of the right side of the tank over to the left side to the petcock.  That's saved me a walk a couple of times.  My 350 only has about 7 miles of reserve.
