Been too Long
« on: April 02, 2009, 04:46:47 PM »
It was back in around '72, the last time I rode a Bridgestone and that was my 175 HS. I finally got my 175 DT out that I bought back in Dec. 2008. I had forgotten, just how nice a ride it really was. No, it is not a big bike, but it feels like it could run all day at a very good speed above 55mph. I had also forgot how smooth the motor was as well. If there was one thing I could wish for, it would be a shift pattern like the now standard, one up and the rest down. It sure was a fun 10+ mile ride for that shake down ride in the spring. Now I can go back to detailing her out the rest of the way. When I think of some of the bikes I have had since my old 175, I wonder if I really did progress on the other bikes.
