Am I messed up? I was thinking Portland, Ind. was in Mid July? Many times you will see people at Portland, then they go to Wauseon, Ohio and Mid-Ohio Vintage Days.

I've been to Mid-Ohio, but never Portland....how do they compare? Are there ever any Bridgestone parts at the swapmeet? Thanks all!

The Portland meet is very different, nice people all under big shade trees, with total
emphasis on small cycle, scooters, ect Very different.

Think I'll take tomorrow off and take my wife up to Portland....it's only about an hour away. I've been to the fairgrounds for the tractor show, but never for this event. Hopefully the rain will hold off!

We are going to Portland too, I will be parked in the center section, under the big trees, driving a dark Blue Toyota Tundra, step side truck. Pulling a red two wheel trailer.
Will arrive early.

Will be driving around a 1960 Cushman three wheel beige golf cart, with a beige top.

Portland is a great event, I hooked up with Richard Clark and Jeff McBrayer, we hung out for hours, Richard brought
his golf car and we all rode around, There was so much, I do not think you could have walked it and seen it all in one
long...day. Had a great time. Richard is very interesting to talk with, has so much knowledge of cycles, not just
stone either.

Bought a few BS parts, and a Chibi, there were about 4 stones around the area, including one real Surfrider with the
emblems that everyone talks about, I have posted two photos in the Gallery 60sport section

Also some general shots in the Gallery Events section of the meet itself, the photos just show a very small amount of stuff.

You really should be there next year

Hey guys,

Didn't see the posting from Richard before I left so didn't know where or who to look out for. Sorry I missed you guys, I was hoping to meet up with Richard to be able to put a face with a voice! My wife and I went on Wednesday. The rain held off (mostly) while we were there and we had a great time! Look forward to meeting some of you next year!
