So.............why are you selling?
Give up on the LSR idea?
You were really hot to trot about that...........so what happened?

Steve

btw....................a lot better quality pictures might help your sale a bit..........
Just a thought.
It's a buyer market.......gotta give them really tasty food for visual thought.

Steve

My vision is failing and then to top it off, have to have both knees replaced. My vision has gotten so bad I can't see to wire the thing and can't get a liscense to do the deal.

drtracr,
So what is the specific problem relating to your vision?
Diabetes?
Or something else?
What's the story with your knees?
What's your age and what has caused your orthopedic problems?

I'm not meaning to nib shit too much...............just wondering.

I'm 63 now and in reasonable shape, but I can't do what I did when I was 37. or 45, or even 58.
It kinda sucks............but I go on every day.

You were on fire with the LSR attempt.
I know you would have succeeded............

Wishing you better health.

Regards,
Steve

Too bad you can't get anyone to assist you in completing your mission.

I know it meant a lot to you and I would have loved for you to have accomplished it.
It had your name all over it.

Good luck!!

Thanks guys. Steve I have Macular Degeneration and is in the advanced stages. My knees are bone to bone, had seven knee surgeries due to racing motorcycles and other things. My left knee started hurting really bad month ago, doctor says my Patella Tendon has calcified and is breaking. Bad deal. He has been saying they have to be replaced as there is nothing left to do and now the tendon will have to be repaired as well. I go Tuesday to find out next step.
My vision can not be repaired. Both eyes have been operated on and it is what it is and can't be fixed. I tried to outrun the blindness and lost.
It is not the end of the world, can still see well enough to kick around, just can't get a drivers liscense.
Knees will heal and I will be back doing something, maybe fishing.
I am 61 years old today and have done way more than anyone I know. I can't complaign.

Drtracr, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I know you are appreciative of the fact you've put one more year away, as evident in your remarks. Sight failing or no, you have a particularly bright outlook. Commendable by all, enviable by some. Good luck on your SR/MII. I hope you have a great day. Thanks, Mark.

For what it is worth. I have won hundreds of races on or in everything from karts, flat track bikes, moto cross, hare scrambles, stock cars on dirt and asphalt, midgets, mud trucks and off road trucks. I have won in every car I have ever driven and on every bike I have ridden. I have won track championships, national championships and everything in between. I loved every minute of it, but paying the price now.I have been very lucky.
My father was a championship winning race car driver and I spent all my life trying to outdo him. It was a personal thing for me and I tried very hard to inpress him, yet he could not ever say it, but I know I did.
Best compliment I ever recieved was from an older gentleman that said I have watched your father win a lot of races, but you are much better than he was.
So I am good with the results of my career and who knows I might pop back up somewhere.

Believe it or not, today is my deceased father's birthday.
He died 6/30/2011.
He would have been 92 today.
Small world, eh?
