I've not gotten any responses on generator restoration, so I'm taking that as a tacit "not feasible". If that is indeed the case, the generator, complete with points, needs to be replaced. This is for a 200cc engine. Who has one in good nick for sale? This work is being done for a customer, so I am not per se concerned about price. He will make that decision. In two weeks time the engine will be complete and I'll need a generator.
