About to pass 4 million page views of our Bridgestone Site
« on: September 16, 2012, 10:13:33 AM »
BS Freinds

Your site has had almost 4 million page views,  we should pass 4 million views soon.  Pretty impressive!
Check it out on the stats  page linked below:

http://bridgestonemotorcycleparts.com/index.php?action=stats

When you read the "averages" remember that includes the 10 months, when no one was on the site. That is before I presented the site.

I want to thank all the hard working members who have taken the time to keep this
site active and friendly towards all.  Without you this site would not exist.

If you have any ideas on new additions and suggestions for the site, please contact me.

Mornin Richard and everyone on this site,

In my humble opinion I think this is probably the best of the classic bike sites around. I just feel lucky to have in interest in Bridgestones and not the other makes for some odd reason ?

For example you and I have never actually met and yet we collaborated on the 350 con rod project with the group. I just wish we had done it five or ten years ago !.. This effort will I hope pull more interest into the many project bikes that are sitting around because people know parts for this critical area of a restoration can now be completed, which 6 months ago were on the unobtainable list. I know this first hand as I have at least 5, maybe 6, to get to with all the other bits to put them right.

Thanks for putting the site together and maintaining it, as that is a lot of work in it's self.

ray

Just want to thank Richard for the site. Also want to thank all the guys AND Girls ( what, 134.5 or so) for makin it what it is. I had never met another stoner till last December. (Still haven't personally met one, but it's just as good.) Never checked out anything Bridgestone related since the 60's until I came across my current GTR. Decided to check the web for parts availability before I bought it and BAM, there it was, Richard's Relics. Great site and Great people! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Mike,

Once we have all these rod kits delivered and out of the way, we can all sit down and see what is next to do. Can't promise anything but will have a damn good go at it - haha !!

later .. ray

I would prematurely vote on clutch discs. Don't matter how purty she is if she don't run. If any group can succeed in repro parts it's this one. But the people like Ray and Richard are the dynamics behind these projects. I'm just happy to hear they are willing to take on another one after these rod kits! ;D

I was fortunate enough to stumble onto this site a few years ago while wondering what might have happened to my BS 100 GP.  It has rekindled my interest in what was the best bike of my youth.  I've made some really good friends on this site and I'm looking forward to many more years of camaraderie and Bridgestone bikes.  Thanks Richard for all your efforts on our behalf.

I third that motion. Don't know how difficult that would be, but my only dissapointment on my first visit was no shop. I was actually anticipating and expecting one.
