Nope, not even sure what kind of film cartridge that thing would use.  ???  It's a "pocket" camera, so it's gotta be on the small side.

Besides, it's on the tire related side of things vs. our bikes. Just thought it was a neat little gizmo. I'm always amazed at some of the promotional items that company's put out.  8)

Not sure if there are any BS owners with enough 'lazy' cash lying around for this one.

I'll wait for the Sequioa Green one to go sale. Can anyone translate the Imperial date codes on the silver tag?

I'm with Paul, let me know when the green one goes up for auction!   8)

In the meantime, here's a pic of the tank bag for when the auction long disappears.

Oh and Paul, I think those are patent numbers on the tag/securing clamp and not date codes. (emphasis on "think")  ;D

Here's a bs jacket from the 70s. Maybe one of our smaller members might be lucky enough to fit into it ;)

Yeah, but that's a small price to pay to look like a crash dummy or be in a Purina Puppy Chow ad!  ;D

Here's another tank or maybe luggage rack type of bag, although having those metal rings on the bottom steers me more towards the luggage rack side of things....

        Hi Mke,
This is a real piece of BS history from a time when they were doing well against the other Japanese makers. Can anyone tell us a bit more about BS competition history from the early 60's?

There is a similarity to the design of the medal here. Looks like the bike model was called 'Champion' and they had a 'Champion' Rally?

Nice catch ziggy. I'd seen that brochure before but didn't really pay attention to the cheetah/panther on it. Looks the same as what's on the medal. The bike is definitely a BS Champion.

Here's a picture of a BS Champion from BSaddict's gallery on this site.   Bought by Brian McDonough  from Ray Oliver in Ireland.   Slightly odd styling to western eyes but this was a time when enclosure of mechanical parts was in vogue in an attempt to get away from the dirty/greasy motorcycle image.                         Brian.
